Oil-based varnish, water-based coating and UV coating use different application and drying systems. Select by press equipment, ink, substrate and further processing. Gloss or matt describes appearance, not every resistance property.
Confirm adhesion, rub resistance and suitability for creasing, gluing or lamination on the complete printed sample. Compare material consumption and drying requirements, not just container price.
