How to choose VARN washes?

Provide the ink name and rubber type: NBR, NBR/PVC or EPDM. Then specify the cleaning method and press model. Conventional printing wash does not have to be compatible with EPDM or UV inks.

For automatic washing, check the installation instructions and the required manufacturer’s approval. Do not dilute the product according to the rules of another wash. When washing by hand, take into account water, evaporation time and residues on the blanket.

Regular ink wash removes ink, but is not a substitute for any stain wash. For calcium or glass transition, choose the appropriate one VARN care chemicals. Water roller cleaner also has a separate use.

Check the technical data sheet, safety data sheet and machine manual before use. The abbreviation NBR stands for nitrile rubber, NBR/PVC mixture, and EPDM is another type of elastomer. The name “UV” alone does not confirm the compatibility of all these materials.

Will one wash handle conventional and UV printing?

Only if the card allows both inks and a specific rubber. Don’t choose a product based solely on smell or evaporation rate.
